happy snow

Getting ready to do Christmas cards... Some may say it can be overwhelming to make your own cards, but there is nothing more sincere. This card was last year's design and I fell in love with it. I had made this before all those jewels came with a sticky back. I actually glues one at a time with a toothpick and crazy glue.

December 5th is the make and take date. All holiday cards will be on sale at the Student Union.

work in progress...

It seemed like she turned one year a long time ago, but i am still working on her mini album. Maybe because I know how fast the pages go I am taking my time. I also only have three more months to finish in her "First year" album. This layout was inspired by a ali edwards sketch #5 posted on www.pencillines.com. Check it out.

We went home this weekend. Caleb had his last soccer game and Tio Chad was their to watch. Caleb was so proud to have his Socer Uncle watch him play soccer. Caleb played so hard and tough, he even knocked over some kids... he ended up scoring the only goal. His team won 1-0.

Chad had so much fun watching the kids, he laughed the first five minutes we got there. Oh the joy of kids really does make everything o.k.

Thirty years old and still looking handsome. Chad's B-day was a great celebration. I had so much fun putting it together. Especially the invitaions. You guessed it, they are from Paper Source. The place of invitation heaven. In this layout, I wanted to try the popular Ali Edwards technique of evening out the phots by size and shaping them into square.

Supplies Used:
MME: Bohemia Patterned paper, White Cardstock, Making Memories Alphabet leters, 7 gypsies rub-ons.

The sun is shining still in the Northern California. It is suppose to rain, but not really bumbed about it. Just waiting for winter to come. My actual favorite time... time to snuggle... time to make soup... time to watch all those movie hits that we missed all summer... I love it. The season is changing and so is Savana. Not only she stretching and not fitting into her clothes, but she is starting to verbalize her wants. I swear she said I love you yesterday, but maybe it was more like ivovuo.
